Job Description – Graphic Designer


Employment Opportunity:

The Company: Pacific Lifestyle is a leading B2B importer with over 50 years’ experience, and is looking to expand its Creative Team with a Graphic Designer, to work closely with the Design and Marketing Teams and produce marketing material to an extensive International customer base.

The Role:

An exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join a leading B2B importer and designer of furniture, lighting and accessories for the home.

As a key member of the Design and Marketing Team, this role requires someone with the ability to produce all manner of marketing material and help build and implement the Marketing Content Plan.

The successful candidate will be able to help implement social media, design and complete brochures, marketing material and work with any associated suppliers. You would be supported by our Creative Team and work alongside our IT and Marketing department.

Involvement in the photography, copy, press releases and collating trend information will be an important part of this exciting role.
Candidate Requirements: The candidate should be a highly motivated, creative person with good attention to detail and an interest in current social media trends and avenues. It is equally important that the candidate should be a team player, flexible and keen to join a committed team within the Home Decor sector.

Whilst a supported role, the candidate will need to be able to manage their own workloads and timescales and react well to pressure when deadlines are looming. The potential to grow this role within Pacific Lifestyle is a huge opportunity for the right candidate.

The ability to work in fast paced environment is essential. Good organisational skills are required, as well as the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within your department and across the division as a whole. A working knowledge of Word and Excel is helpful whilst a good understanding of some, if not all, of the following is essential; Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
