All of our lighting complies with the current British, European and International Luminaire Standards and has been satisfactorily assessed for conformity with the requirements for The Lighting Industry Association Quality Assurance Scheme (LIAQA), which substantiates this company’s claim for compliance with the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 1994. The issue of LIA Accreditation requires compliance with comprehensive Audit requirements and review of Documented Quality Systems and Control Procedures as required by the relevant EU directives and Regulations; CE Mark, LVD, GPSR, RoHS, REACH.

Lightbulb Specification

We have provided bulb information for all our lamps including maximum wattage. Please take note of this information when selecting product. Further detailed bulb information is available within the technical section of our website.

The majority of our lamps come with one of the following:

E27 – European screw fitting (27mm in diameter) with in-line switch.
E14 -  European screw fitting (14mm in diameter) with in-line switch
B22 – Standard UK bayonet fitting.

Childrens Lighting

Our childrens lighting complies with the latest edition of the Portable Luminaires for children standard EN 60598-2-10:2003 and comes complete with transformer which reduces the voltage to a maximum of 24v. In addition the bulb is protected either by a ‘bulb cover’ or diffuser.

LED Lighting

Our LED lighting comes with a manufacturer’s 3 year guarantee and complies with the latest edition of the luminaire standard EN60598-1:2015 and all other required testing standards.

Shade Measurements

Our comprehensive range of shades are all measured in cm's.

The measurement relates to the diameter of the shade as shown below:
